A Private Company Soars to Poland
Founded in Canada in 1989, Crow Communications began
operations in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, as a
publishing company, producing a lifestyle and tourism
magazine for the local market.
The following year, the company relocated its
headquarters to Montréal, in the predominantly French
province of Québec, where it became an active member of
the Advertising and Sales Executives Club of Montréal.
In this bilingual metropolis, the company expanded its
focus from publishing into a firm specializing in public
relations communications. Crow soon distinguished itself
by leveraging its core competencies in journalism and
business, fusing them into a fiscally responsible
corporate conscience function.
Crow Communications also carried forward its experience
with subcontractors and expanded its client roster and
staff. In the early 1990s, at this critical time of
organizational change for many Canadian firms unable to
balance the new trade realities of NAFTA along with
personnel down-sizing to streamline costs, clients
viewed Crow as a logical and cost effective outsourcing
solution.
Contracts ranged in scope from one-time projects to
ongoing programs for large and medium-sized clients
throughout North America, South America and Asia within
industries as varied as non-profit, hi-tech,
pharmaceutical, entertainment, as well as durable and
packaged goods.
In 2001, 12-years after its maiden voyage, Crow
Communications spread its wings over another growth area
to land in Poland ahead of the European Union and
establish itself as a presence in this rapidly emerging
market in the heart of central Europe.
Today, Crow Communications Corporation continues as an
international company, offering a broad range of public
relations management expertise to a wide range of
industries. Please take a moment to review the
specialized business communication services we offer.
We look forward to satisfying your needs.
